Zenit CNC — Single head numerically controlled calibration and polishing machine with automatic tool change and 3 interpolated axes. It allows to carry out calibration, finishing, polishing and brushing operations.
Thanks to an innovative system developed by DONATONI MACCHINE, this CNC machine is equipped with ball screw tool side pressure control for high precision calibration work and a pneumatic pressure system for finishing, polishing and brushing work.
The Zenit CNC allows for very precise machining, drilling, straight and curved cuts, threading with diamond cutters and engraving (lettering and bas-relief).
The X and Y axes are moved by linear guides with recirculating spheres and calibrated and hardened toothed racks; both units are centrally lubricated. The system is driven by brushless motors connected to high-precision gearboxes.

TOOLS PRESETTING
The system that allows tool dimensions to be automatically determined by updating their parameters in a list contained in the machine’s memory.
SLAB THICKNESS
Automatic slab thickness detection system: Average slab dimensions are transmitted to the machine computer with instantaneous updates of the cutting parameters.
